Rowena Ryan is the Regional Manager Sthn QLD / Nthn NSW for AusIndustry, as part of the Australian Government Department of Industry, Innovation, Science, Research and Tertiary Education.

Having headed the Gold Coast-based Regional office for the past six years, Rowena has been heavily involved in the Sthn QLD and Nthn NSW business communities and has assisted numerous businesses through AusIndustry's diverse suite of business assistance programs.

Rowena brings to the role many years of business development, account management, and trade facilitation experience across a wide range of industries and disciplines in both Australia and internationally. With postgraduate and undergraduate tertiary qualifications in Accountancy, Business Law & Taxation, Rowena has previously worked with the Qld Chamber of Commerce & Industry (QCCI / Commerce Qld) in Brisbane; the Maltese-Australian Chamber of Commerce abroad; and within the property development and telecommunications industries in Australia.

Rowena's charter at AusIndustry is to ensure that the entrepreneurial spirit of innovative companies is given an environment in which it has the greatest potential to soar, and she plays an integral part in facilitating such growth in the region.
