ITFGC AGM - Chairman returned & New Committee

Michael Blumenstein was returned unopposed as Chairman for the IT Forum Gold Coast on Thursday evening. with most of the original committee continuing on. Greg Tomkins did not contest the deputy chair position due to other work commitments but remains on the committee and is now replaced by Frank Yarsley as the new deputy Chair.

We also would like to welcome 2 new members to our committee, Jane Power and Mark Grasso both of whom are most welcome and will surely provide fresh input to the discussions around how we can all work towards making the Forum even more effective for its members and the Gold Coast IT Industry.

Whilst the meeting was fairly straight forward, 2 motions for changes to the Forum's constitution by Greg Tomkins has seen changes to the Forum's membership rules which now allow the committee itself to change membership fees without having to go to a AGM and a change to the membership structure whereby there are new classifications and pricing with the dropping of 3 years memberships. The forum now will only have annual membership renewals. These changes are effective immediately.

Full details of the meeting along with a copy of the Chairman's report will be posted to this website shortly
